Collaboration in China
Building on a 100-year-old collaboration.
The Tsinghua–Johns Hopkins Public Health Management Program welcomed its first cohort of students in fall 2016, marking the beginning of the School of Public Health’s first collaborative degree program in China.
The program is based in the Institute for Hospital Management at Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading research and educational institutions. Although the health management program is new, the School of Public Health has been collaborating with Chinese educational institutions for nearly 100 years, and this new collaboration with Tsinghua University is another way to strengthen that bond.
Through the program, students will earn a Doctor of Public Health with a concentration in health care leadership and management. The program is aimed at professionals in China who have demonstrated leadership in health fields and want training in public health, health care, and hospital management.
